Country's second largest software services firm Infosys today said it has secured a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal with ABN AMRO to provide IT services to the retail and commercial bank.

Infosys, a strategic partner of ABN AMRO, will deliver services across application development and maintenance, testing and product implementation, the company said in a statement.

Along with other strategic partners of ABN AMRO, it will help the bank rationalise its IT landscape and improve service quality and customer experience, Infosys added.

It will also enable greater operational efficiency, employee satisfaction and agility.

"We have to keep pace with the evolving customer needs and be at the centre of their digital lives by delivering superior, personalised and fast services anytime and anywhere. Redesigning our entire IT infrastructure efficiently and flawlessly is an intrinsic part of this journey," ABN AMRO Senior Managing Director, Group Chief Information Officer Frans van der Horst said.

Infosys has been engaged with ABN AMRO for over a decade.

"Banks are increasingly looking at technology enablers that will help them offer innovative products and efficient services to their customers," Infosys Executive Vice President and Global Head (Financial Services) Mohit Joshi said.
