Learning from organisational loopholes at Commonwealth Games, Goa government today told the State Legislative Assembly that quality of infrastructure for the Lusofonia Games scheduled in November this year is being monitored on a daily basis.
"We have project management consultancy which generates quality report every day," Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar said agreeing to give details of the reports procured by the government to members in the Assembly, if they ask for it.
He was responding to apprehensions raised by BJP legislator Michael Lobo, who feared that Goa infrastructure might go the CWG way.

State Sports minister Ramesh Tawadkar told the House that the setting up of infrastructure for the Games is one week ahead of the schedule as per the time table.
A total of Rs 42 crore have already been disbursed for infrastructure creation, he said, adding new facilities are being built as existing stadiums except a couple of them cannot fulfil the requirement of hosting international Games.
The Goa government has already taken up Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Fatorda, Peddem ground in Mapusa, Tilak Maidan in Vasco and few other grounds, for upgrading facilities there.
The reply tabled on the floor of the House said that 14 stadiums or halls would be in place for hosting these Portuguese Commonwealth Games, which is being held in Goa for the first time.
