Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today directed officials to initiate work on providing road facility to all ST habitations in the state from this year.
The state government proposed a three-year action plan for the purpose.
Responding to media reports on the difficulties faced by local residents of Utnoor in Adilabad district due to absence of road facility, Rao asked officials to address the issue immediately, a release from his office said.

The plan envisages laying roads to a total of 1200 ST habitations, it said.
As per the plan, road facility would be provided at a cost of Rs 250 crore to 432 habitations in the first year, the release added.
