A 22-year-old man, who had
sustained injuries about a week ago in a scuffle over parking in west Delhi's Nangloi area, has died, police said today.
According to police, the incident took place on April 21 when Akash, a resident of Nangloi, had a heated argument over parking his motorbike outside a footwear shop in the locality.

The argument soon erupted into a scuffle and the shopkeeper called more youths from a nearby leather processing unit, and Akash was beaten up with rods and sticks, they said, adding he was allegedly thrashed until he collapsed.
The group then dispersed leaving him on the street, lying in a pool of blood, after which locals informed his relatives and called police.
A police team rushed Akash to a hospital by the time his relatives reached the spot, they said.
He was admitted in a hospital with severe injuries on his nose and skull. Later, he was shifted to another hospital where he succumbed to his injuries yesterday, a senior police official said.
Two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident, he said, adding that efforts are on to nab the others.
During interrogation, it also emerged that the main accused was drunk at the time of the incident.
Police are also probing if the matter was of personal rivalry, the official added.
