Film actor and newly elected Member of Parliament from Chalakudy, Innocent, would continue as President of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA).
The decision in this regard was taken at the general body of AMMA held here today.
In the executive held yesterday, Innocent had expressed his desire to quit which was opposed by all the members.
Innocent has been AMMA President since the past 14 years.
