Innovative entrepreneurship will greatly impact new missions like 'Skill India', 'Start-Up India' and 'Make in India' initiatives, CMD of Navaratna PSU Nalco, Tapan Kumar Chand, said today.

"In this context, developing entrepreneurial skills among the young, starting from school level, will create a conducive environment for future entrepreneurs and will be pivotal in providing employment," he said at a function here.

Noting that Bhubaneswar was gradually emerging as an education and knowledge-hub, Chand said Nalco as a leading corporate house of the state was equally concerned to promote entrepreneur skills among the youth at par with global standards.

To encourage budding entrepreneurs, Nalco as part of its Industry-Institution Interaction initiative would organise stimulating business exercises in selected schools, where students would be given opportunities to participate, learn and solve business situations, he said.

Such exercises would give confidence to the younger generations to come up with new ideas and encourage them to be entrepreneurs, Chand said.
