Inox Wind jumps 6 pc after order win from SJVN in Gujarat

Shares of Inox Wind surged nearly 6 per cent today after the company said it has bagged a 50-MW wind power project order from hydroelectric firm SJVN in Gujarat.

The stock gained 5.79 per cent to settle at Rs 199 on BSE.

At NSE, shares of the company jumped 5.66 per cent to end the day at Rs 198.55. On the volume front, over 4 lakh shares were traded on NSE.

In a BSE filing, Inox Wind said it has bagged an order for 50 MW wind power project to be deployed in the state of Gujarat from SJVN Ltd.
 

The project is scheduled to be commissioned by November 2017 and will be executed on turnkey basis, it added.

As a part of the order, the firm will supply and install 25 units of its 113m rotor diameter turbines.
