Punjab Industry and Commerce Minister Anil Joshi today asked state Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa to order an inquiry into reports of "depletion of huge fixed deposits" of Punjab Infotech and alleged "discrepancies" in the allotment of industrial plots and their cancellation, a statement said.
The Minister also took a serious view of the allotment of consultancy work for Rajpura and Rail Majra IT parks, it said.
The Industry minister requested the Finance minister to get the inquiry expedited so that administrative action could be initiated against the "wrong doers".
