As many as 51 persons donated blood at a donation camp organised by the INS Circars authorities to mark its 76th anniversary today.
The camp had been organised in association with A S Raja Blood Bank.
Established on December 12, 1939, by the Royal Indian Navy during the initial phase of the second World War, INS Circars is now premier Depot Ship of the Eastern Naval Command, according to a Navy release here.
It provides administrative and logistical support to 48 naval units in and around Visakhapatnam.
