The Commissioner of Railway Safety, Southern Circle, Bengaluru, will conduct the statutory inspection of the newly converted broad gauge line between Palani-Pollachi railway stations on November 24 and 25.
The Commissioner of Railway Safety will also conduct a high speed trial run between Palani-Pollachi using an Inspection Special train on November 25.
The high speed trial run is likely to be conducted between 15.30 hrs-16.30 hrs.
Public are therefore requested to not cross the track nor go near the tracks and to keep away from the railway tracks and avoid crossing unmanned level crossings in the Palani-Pollachi section, a release said here today.
