The Haryana government today warned legal action against owners of hatcheries and poultry farms if they fail to install incinerators for proper disposal of wastes produced in their units.
Haryana State Pollution Control Board has asked all such owners to install incinerators so that dead birds and other wastes could be disposed off easily as there is always a danger of outbreak of epidemics due to the wastes, an official spokesman said here.
He said legal action under Environmental Protection Act would be initiated against those failing to install the incinerators.
