A comprehensive integrated system for firefighting, fire detection and alarm and an evacuation system at the 400-bed Tata Motors Hospital was inaugurated here today.

The fire safety management status of the hospital was thoroughly assessed and it was decided to put in place a comprehensive integrated system for firefighting, fire detection and alarm and an evacuation system for the occupants in case of emergency, a Tata Motors press release said.

The system was inaugurated by Ravindra Pisharody (Executive Director - Commercial Vehicles).

The company has installed and commissioned a Fire hydrant system that runs on 24x7 basis and protects the premises from outside as well as from inside.

This has its own dedicated fire water reservoir and pump house and can operate even in case of complete electrical power failure.

The pump house has the facility to even refill the fire tenders in case of emergency.

The hospital offers quality and specialized care to its employees including those of associated companies and neighborhood communities.
