: City-based financial technology company Intellect Design Arena Limited has seen an increase in its profit after tax (PAT) for July-September 2018.
The firm registered Rs 31.46 crore as against Rs 7.95 crore, a rise of over 200 per cent, according to a BSE filing by Intellect Design Arena.
During the period, revenue increased to Rs 679.22 crore from Rs 509.64 crore.
For the half-year ending September 30, the PAT grew to 74.99 crore from Rs 8.69 crore during the same period last year and the revenue went upto Rs 380.37 crore (Rs 268.47 crore).
"We had a phenomenal quarter. In the first half, we registered a 86 per cent year-on-year growth, driven by contribution from transformational deals from Asia and Australia," the filing in the BSE quoted the chairman and managing director of the company Arun Jain as saying.
Its chief financial officer Venkateswarlu Saranu also was quoted as saying that the company had staged a strong performance accelerating the growth in revenue.
