Intense heat continues in Bihar

Scorching heat continued in many parts of Bihar with Gaya recording the highest temperature at 43.1 degrees Celsius.

Gaya recorded the maximum temperature of 43.1 degrees Celsius while state capital Patna registered 41 degrees Celsius, according to Patna Meteorological centre.

Bhagalpur and Purnea recorded 40 and 35.6 degrees Celsius respectively, the bulletin said.

The MeT office has forecast partly cloudy sky in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur tomorrow.

Purnea is expected to witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of rainfall and thundershower, they said.
