Intense heat continued in parts of Rajasthan, where Sriganganagar was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 47 degrees Celsius.
Bikaner registered a high of 46.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Churu, Jaislamer, Kota and Barmer which sizzled at 46.4 degrees Celsius, 45.7 degrees Celsius, 45.4 degrees Celsius and 44.4 degrees Celsius respectively, the Meteorological department said.
In Jaipur, day temperature was recorded at 44.3 degrees Celsius, while Dabok registered a high of 42.7 degrees Celsius, it said.
Heat wave conditions would prevail in the state and the weather would remain the same till tomorrow, the weatherman predicted.
