Intense heat conditions crippled normal life in Rajasthan where Sriganganagar at maximum 48.6 degree Celsius remained the hottest place in the state today.
Pink city Jaipur settled at a high of 43.9 deg C, while Ajmer recorded 42.2 deg C, Met officials said.
Elsewhere, Churu recorded maximum 47.3 deg C, Bikaner 46.5 deg C, Jaisalmer 45.9 deg C and Barmer 44.4 deg C.
