Inter-linking of rivers will soon begin in states which have fully agreed to the move, Union Minister Sanwar Lal Jat said today.
The Minister of State for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation said here that two meetings have been convened in this regard after he had taken oath as the minister.
The Ajmer MP said he will try to provide drinking water to every part of Rajasthan and simultaneously other states of the country.
Vowing to make Ajmer a smart city, Jat said he will provide every support to the move.
Recently, US President Barack Obama had also announced during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's America's visit that he will support to make Ajmer as a smart city.
