Police Crime Branch today claimed to have busted an inter-state gang involved in several murder and robbery cases with the arrest of three persons near the Raj Extension Chowk here.
Acting on a tip-off, the crime branch team arrested the trio when they were planning a robbery, Superintendent of Police (Crime) Rambhilash Tripathi said.
A pistol, two countrymade pistol and cartridges and a vehicle was seized from their possession, he said adding, the arrested were active in Delhi, NCR and western Uttar Pradesh.
Satender, Vikram and Bintay were involved in several criminal cases, including the alleged robbery-cum-murder at Muradnagar in 2008, he said.
