Intermittent rains lash Mumbai

Intermittent showers lashed Mumbai since this morning as residents came out to the sea front to enjoy the rains.

Being a Sunday, Mumbaikars came out to enjoy the showers at sea front at Marine Drive, Worli seaface, Bandra reclamation, Girgaum and Juhu chowpatty beach.

Monsoon arrived here on June 11 and since then rains have been lashing the city.

According to Regional Meteorology Centre, Mumbai, 122.2 mm rainfall has been recorded in Mumbai suburbs since June 1 and 81.1 mm in the city.

The MeT department has predicted that wet spell would continue in the city and suburbs in the next two days.
