The fourth annual Indian Comics Convention, Comic Con is set to commence here soon with participation by international personalities like Mark Waid, the award-winning American comic book writer and David Lloyd, a British comic artist.
Waid, the Eisner Award-winning writer is well known for his work on Marvel Comics Captain America series and Lyod, is best known as illustrator of the graphic novel 'V for Vendetta', which was turned into a Hollywood film.
Besides, Gabriel Ba, a Brazilian comic book artist, his twin brother Fabio Moon, known for his work on "Casanova" and John Steele Layman, an American comic book writer would also be attending the glittering event, scheduled to begin here on February 7.

"This time the festival is four times bigger than what it was in the previous year. Delhiites will experience what they have not in the past three years," Jatin Varma, Founder of Comic Con India told PTI.
A major highlight of the event this year is a special show on the life of famous American cartoonist Charles M Schulz and his popular comic strip 'Peanuts'.
Titled "Inside Peanuts: The Life and Art of Charles M Schulz" will illustrate the journey of Peanuts and Charles M Schulz over the years.
It will also track the development of twelve main characters that make up the world of 'Peanuts' and will give the visitors a sneak peek into the journey from the 1950's to present day popularity of the famous comic strip and the legacy of Charles M Schulz.
Some of the best known names in international comic publishing are set to participate this year and they are expected to hand out merchandise to those who come dressed up in a costume. Prizes are divided into five different categories including comic book, animated series, manga, sci-fi and gaming.
"There will be a lot more for the visitors to do at the event. We aim to take the fan experience up a notch and bring it closer to international standards," Varma said.
