"India has sought suggestions from other kabbadi playing nations for the formation of the International Kabaddi Committee," President of Punjab Kabaddi Association, Sikander Singh Maluka said today.
He added other technical aspects like rules and regulations, code of ethics, gradation of coaches and umpires is also being worked upon by a technical sub-group.
Maluka, who is also the vice Chairman of the ongoing World Cup, said that to match the international standard of other games, umpires from other nations have also been invited for officiating in this World Cup.
"Iran has responded to India's invitation and have sent two umpires. These two Iranian umpires are doing umpiring in this 3rd kabaddi World Cup, he said.
"Once the International Kabaddi Committee is constituted efforts would be initiated to train umpires and other technical staff on set procedural guidelines," he said in a release issued by the Punjab government.
India has already provided a kabaddi coach to Kenya who has trained the Kenynian kabaddi team, which is playing in this World Cup.

Meanwhile, all players of Indian men's kabaddi team Cup have cleared the dope test, Maluka said.
"The officials of NADA have declared the result in this regard where as result of Indian women's kabaddi team would be announced soon," he said.
