The National Federations of Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, Republic of South Africa, Australia and Thailand have confirmed their participation in the Championships, EFA General Secretary Siddhartha Sharma said today.

The event would be held under the aegis of the Equestrian Federation of India (EFI).

Sharma said the event will be held over a 60 km track laid through sylvan forests and tea gardens skirting the mighty Brahmaputra.

Renowned equestrian Brian Dunn has been specially invited as the president of ground jury, he said.

Sharma said the Dibrugarh district administration and sports bodies such as Dibrugarh District Sports Association and sports enthusiasts have extended their full support and cooperation to host the international event.

The EFA had earlier hosted the National and Junior National Endurance Championships on December 30, 2012 and January 13, 2013 respectively.
