International law firm appoints Engineer as brand ambassador

Former India stumper Farokh Engineer has been appointed as the brand ambassador of one of UK's leading international law firms, Zaiwalla & Co Solicitors.

The former wicketkeeper-batsman, who played 46 Tests for India, will assume his role of brand ambassador with immediate effect and will play a pivotal part in promoting the firm to Indian and Middle Eastern audiences.

"I am very honoured to have been appointed as brand ambassador for Zaiwalla & Co Solicitors. Zaiwalla & Co has a long history as a law firm of great repute and standing, in India, the Middle East and in the UK," he said.

I look forward to working with Zaiwalla & Co Solicitors to continue to promote it internationally in all its endeavours," Engineer, who served as a captain of Lancashire county in England, added.

Zaiwalla & Co. Solicitors acts for both domestic and overseas clients including corporations and state entities, as well as individuals.

Founded in 1982 by Sarosh Zaiwalla, the first Asian individual to establish a law firm in London, Zaiwalla and Co. Solicitors has been involved in over 1,000 international litigations and arbitrations in the fields of Energy, Maritime and Construction.

Previous clients of the firm range from the President of India, the Government of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Iranian Government to the Bachchan and Gandhi families in India.
