A INTTUC leader today said they would not allow workers of the Jute Mill at Majhabari in Jalpaiguri district to enter the factory till management take back some sacked workers.

INTTUC Rajbandh Block secretary Tapan Dey alleged that the management of the Jute Mill yesterday sacked three workers without giving any reason.

So the INTTUC is observing a demonstration before the gate of the jute mill since this morning and is not allowing any worker to enter the factory till the management take back the three sacked workers or have a dialogue with them regarding taking back of the three sacked workers.

The jute mill employs around 500 workers.
