Investment of more than Rs 19,200 crore is proposed as on January 2020 in the state through MoUs signed during the Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit - 2015 organised by the previous government, Industries Minister Parsadi Lal informed the assembly on Wednesday.
The then state government had signed 295 memorandums of understanding (MoUs)of Rs 3.21 lakh crore to bring investment in the state through the summit, Lal said.
Replying to a question raised by Congress legislator Panachand Meghwal, the minister informed the House that a total of Rs 52.57 crore was spent on the event.
While Rs 20.53 crore was spent on advertisement and publicity, the event partner was paid Rs 29.53 crore, he said.
Similarly, Rs 2.31 crore was paid to the knowledge partner of the event and the money spent on meetings and seminars held during the event was Rs 1.11 lakh.
Another Rs 2.90 lakh was spent on conveyance and miscellaneous expenses accounted for Rs 4.49 lakh, he said.
