Ipca Labs Q1 net zooms over two-fold to Rs 47.57 cr

Ipca Laboratories today reported over two-fold jump in standalone net profit to Rs 47.57 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, on account of robust sales.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 20.92 crore for the same period of the previous fiscal, Ipca Laboratories said in a filing to BSE.

Standalone total income from operations also rose to Rs 842.16 crore for the quarter under review, as against Rs 756.09 crore in the corresponding period last year.

While income from exports for the first quarter of this fiscal was up 17 per cent to Rs 441.23 crore, the Indian formulations income for the quarter was up 9 per cent to Rs 345.21 crore, it said.
 

Shares of Ipca Laboratories were trading at Rs 521.60 a scrip in the afternoon trade on BSE, up 3.84 per cent from its previous close.
