"Acting on a complaint, a team of ACB trapped Assistant Sub-Inspector Prem Singh posted with Ramganj police station, catching him red-handed when he was taking a bribe of Rs one lakh in connection with some case", IG-ACB Umesh Mishra told PTI here.
"He (Prem) told the ACB team that he took the bribe at the behest of Ajay Singh, an IPS officer, following which he was detained and being questioned", Mishra said.
Singh, posted as Circle Officer (North) Ajmer was detained at Kanota under Jaipur police commissionerate circle.
He is an IPS officer of 2009 batch.
