IPS officer Singh relieved by MP govt for CBI posting

Madhya Pradesh Government today relieved senior IPS officer Abhay Singh who will be deputed as SP in the Central Bureau of Investigation for four years.

Singh, a 2002 batch IPS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre, is currently posted as the Deputy Inspector General (Rural) at Indore.

Union Home Ministry had issued relevant orders in this regard on May 5, following which the state government today relieved him for the central deputation for a period of four years (beginning) from the date of his joining the CBI, an official release stated today.
