HRD Minister Smriti Irani today congratulated an IIT team whose pilot project has been approved for a scheme seeking development of green cities and heritage along the river Ganga.
"Congrats team Sandhi, pilot projects approved in select cities for developmnt of Green Cities & heritage based urban renewal along river Ganga," she tweeted.
Sandhi, she said, helps to understand, preserve and revive heritage through modern science and technology, promotes Indian ways of thinking and problem solving.
"Proud of the achievements of team IIT Project Sandhi, a science & heritage initiative and sustaining and developing habitat initiative," she said.
