Commuters had to face lot of difficulty in reaching their destinations as their vehicles got stuck in long queues on both sides of the road due to the blockade.
The protesters agreed to remove the blockade only after a joint assurance made by officials of Power Corporation and Public Health Department that supply of power and water would immediately be restored as per schedule.
