IRB Infrastructure Developers today reported a 22.14 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit at 132.55 crore for the quarter ended December 2014 on the back of higher income from operations.
The infrastructure firm had reported a net profit of Rs 108.52 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.
Income from operations for the quarter under review rose by 9.87 per cent to Rs 963.82 crore from Rs 877.22 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The company undertakes development of various infrastructure projects in the road sector through several special purpose vehicles.
The company, along with its subsidiaries has constructed or operated and maintained around 9,295 lane kms of road length so far and is one of the major road developers in the country.
The shares of the company closed at Rs 254.25 a scrip, down 2.16 per cent from the previous close on BSE.
