IRB Infrastructure today said its arm CG Tollway has got off the block on a highway stretch in Rajasthan and started tolling and construction work on the 125-km corridor of NH79.
"CG Tollway Private Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary and a special purpose vehicle (SPV) of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd, has received appointed date from NHAI for its Chittorgarh to Gulabpura six-laning highway project," the company said in a statement.
The SPV started tolling as well as construction work on the 124.87-km corridor of NH79 from November 4, marking revenue generation from Day 1, it said.

The project, with cost outlay of Rs 2,090 crore, involves six-laning of the stretch on NH79 between Chittorgarh and Gulabpura in Rajasthan.
