IRB InvIT reports Rs 304cr rev in Q3FY18, distributes Rs 174cr

IRB InvIT Fund today reported a revenue of Rs 304 crore for the quarter ended December 31, and declared distribution of Rs 174 crore to its unit holders translating into a payout of Rs 3 per unit for the period.

With this, the total distribution for this fiscal reaches Rs 7.55 per unit, out of which Rs 5.45 per unit is interest and Rs 2.10 per unit is return on capital, IRB said in a statement issued here.

"October-December 2017 marks the first full quarter of operations for all seven projects. We have been able to demonstrate asset acquisition, debt-sourcing at best rates, stabilisation and most importantly cash-flow generation and distribution capability of IRB InvIT over the last eight months since listing and are well poised to continue such performance in coming years," a company spokesperson said. *********************** Siemens inaugurates MV lab at INS Valsura *
 

Siemens today inaugurated a medium voltage (MV) lab at INS Valsura for training officers and sailors on MV power generation, protection and distribution.

"The inauguration of the MV lab marks a new milestone in the modernisation plans of the Indian Navy by embracing state-of-the-art technology for ship propulsion," the company said in a statement issued here.

The facility will be used for training personnel on the nuances of medium voltage power generation, protection and distribution, it said.
