An Indian Reserve battalion
(IRB) jawan today committed suicide in the camp in the copper township of Musaboni, about 45 kms from here, under Musaboni police station in Ghatsila Sub-division, police said.
Gaurav Kumar, a resident of Banka in Bihar, shot himself to death from his service rifle this evening.
Kumar, who had recently returned from vacation, killed himself just after speaking to someone on phone, police said.
Family problem was attributed as the reason behind the incident.
