ISGEC to set up mfg unit at Yamunanagar for over Rs 50 crore

ISGEC Heavy Engineering will set up a manufacturing facility with an outlay of over Rs 50 crore at Yamunanagar in Haryana and the project is likely to provide employment to more than 500 persons when completed.

To be spread over 12.2 acres of land at village Rattangarh, the project is expected to be complete by current year end.

The setting up of such facility for manufacturing of heavy engineering and boiler equipments is likely to provide a major boost to the manufacturing industry in Yamunanagar district, said a statement from Haryana government.

The grant of Change of Land Use (CLU) permission for such facility is at a very advanced stage with the Government of Haryana and the same is likely to be issued very shortly, it said.
 

With a huge growth envisaged in the power sector in the coming years, there is likely to be a huge requirements of boilers in the range of 100 MW to 1000 MW capacity, which the proposed manufacturing facility is likely to benefit from, the statement said.

The company is likely to make an investment of over Rs 50 crore in the project in the next one year period to enable commissioning of the plant by the year end, it added.

The project when completed is likely to provide employment to more than 500 persons, it further said.
