Iskcon food relief foundation has joined hands with foodpanda to work on eradicating hunger.
With the support of many volunteers, donors, hotels, bakeries and food industry partners, Iskcon said the foundation has made a difference through the re-channeling of excess food items.
From October 16 to 22, Foodpanda will collect people's wishes.

Rane Brake Q2 net profits doubles
* With the improved market sentiments supported by new vehicle launch, auto-component manufacturer Rane Brake Linings, part of the Rane Group, registered over 100 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 3.89 crore for the second quarter ending September 30, 2015.
The Chennai-based company had registered net profits at Rs 1.73 crore during the year ago period.
For the six month period ending September 30, 2015, net profits of the company soared to Rs 8.71 crore from Rs 5.31 crore registered during same period of last fiscal.

Western Union Co to light remote villages this Diwali
*Western Union Company, the global payment services firm, today said it will light up many homes in remote villages this Diwali.
"The aim is to make electricity available to those in the villages who have never seen nor experienced a light in their homes.
"Each remittance received from designated countries during October 15 to November 30 period through Western Union services will contribute towards the lighting up of a village in rural India," it said in a release.
