Taking strong exception to the brawl that followed the final of ISL between FC Goa and Chennaiyin FC, the India Super League today it does not except "such behaviour" and referred the matter to its disciplinary committee.
In a late night development yesterday, Goa police arrested Elano Blumer, captain of ISL winning team Chennaiyin FC, for allegedly assaulting co-owner of FC Goa team Dattaraj Salgaoncar during post-match celebrations here.
"It has been brought to the notice of ISL and concerns expressed by our partner Star India that FC Goa management have made adverse comments in media disputing the result of ISL 2015 finals played here in Goa on Sunday night. The league has also taken serious view of the unsporting behaviour by the Goa franchise and alleged unsporting behaviour of certain players of the teams on and off the field," the ISL said in a statement.

When Salgaocar questioned him about this, Elano assaulted him.
"ISL does not accepted such behaviour from any member of the club management, support staff or players. The matter has now been referred to the ISL Disciplinary Committee. ISL has strict code of conduct with an established integrity unit and an ACSU division.
"The league has not received any complain from the Goa management."
In a close match, FC Goa lost to Chennaiyin team much to the dismay of thousands of supporters who had gathered at the stadium to support the home team.
