Isolux Corsan India completes 1st HV transmission line

Isolux Corsan India today said it has completed first high voltage transmission line EPC project for Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL).

"Isolux Corsan undertook the complete engineering, procurement and construction of 163.6 km of 765 KV single circuit transmission line on the Pune-Solapur section in Maharashtra. The line is a crucial link to the government's One Grid project being executed by PGCIL," the company said in a statement.

Isolux Corsan India's Managing Director Jose Ruiz Hernandez said: "We are keen to grow in emerging markets and India is a key geography of our growth strategy."

The project is set to unify the southern and western regions which will improve the process of distribution of electricity as and when the Krishnapatnam Ultra Mega Power Plant commences.
 

Isolux Corsan is a Spanish firm and is executing two more projects from PGCIL in Karnataka, and Uttarakhand.

National Collateral ties up with State Bank of Hyderabad

*National Collateral Management Services Ltd (NCML), an agri-infrastructure player, today said it has entered into an alliance with State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH).

With this alliance, which relates to collateral management and warehousing services, NCML has reached the milestone of associating with 50 banks across the country.

The tie-up will assist industries, traders and farmers in financing their capital requirements at all stages of the supply chain, ranging from pre-harvesting to the marketing and export stages, a company statement said here.

"The tie-up with SBH will help in spread of agricultural finance and promote warehousing receipt financing across the country. This arrangement will provide an opportunity to field functionaries to extend finance against warehouse receipts," Sanjay Kaul, Managing Director and Chief Executive, NCML said.

ACME bags solar rooftop project in Punjab * ACME today said that it has bagged its first solar rooftop project with a capacity of 30 MW in Punjab.

The energy generated from the installation will be fed to the local grid through a power purchase agreement (PPA), which got signed with the state distribution company.

The tariff for the project has been fixed at Rs 7.57 per kWhr, ACME said in a statement.

ACME founder and chairman Manoj Kumar Upadhyay said in a statement: "The potential and benefits of the solar rooftop segment in India are huge and the market is just getting started. It is indeed encouraging to see that the state governments are now taking many sincere efforts to promote the solar projects in their respective states."

ACME is in energy management and innovative solutions for alternate energy sector with presence in solar power generation.
