The alert comes as Israelis prepare to head overseas for a traditional holiday period starting with the Jewish New Year on September 24.
The National Security Council's Counter-Terrorism Bureau said there was "concern over additional attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets around the world, especially in Western Europe".
