A Delhi court has reserved for July 23 its order on framing of charges against Indian journalist Syed Mohammad Ahmed Kazmi, the lone accused in the last year's Israeli diplomat attack case.

Additional Sessions Judge Atul Kumar Garg reserved his order after hearing at length the arguments of the prosecution and that on behalf of Kazmi.

Kazmi is the sole accused in the first charge sheet filed by the Special Cell of Delhi Police in the February 13 attack in which an Israeli woman diplomat and her Indian driver were injured.

The police had on June 16 filed a supplementary charge sheet in the case.

Kazmi has been charged under various provisions of the anti-terror law, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and other sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) including attempt to murder.

He has also been charge-sheeted under the provisions of Explosive Substances Act.
