An Israeli national was arrested at Dabolim airport in Goa for allegedly carrying a live cartridge in his bag this afternoon, police said.
The accused was identified as Biton Eliyan (32).
According to a police official at the airport, during the baggage scan, the accused, who was about to catch a Delhi-bound flight, was found carrying a live bullet.

"The cartridge was found in the baggage during an X-ray scan at around 2.45 PM and after a preliminary inquiry, Eliyan was arrested two hours later," he said.
Eliyan has been arrested under the Arms Act and the case is being investigated by Vasco police.
