Israeli youth found dead in hotel room

Amit Finklet (29), a patient of asthma and depression, was found dead in the hotel located in Paharganj this evening, police said.

Police is yet to ascertain the cause of the death though they have ruled out any foul play after preliminary investigations.

Finklet had come to India on a tourist visa on August 13 and had been staying in various hotels.

He had checked into the hotel, where he was found dead, on August 27 and had been staying there since then. His visa is still valid.

Finklet was last seen on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm. This evening, the hotel staff grew suspicious as he was not seen for the past three days.

 

The hotel manager knocked the door and he informed police after he did not get any response.

Police broke open the door and he was found dead. Israel embassy has been informed.
