Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman K Sivan visited the Udupi Sri Krishna mutt and temple along with family members.
He offered special prayers at the temple on Sunday for the success of ISRO mission 'Chandrayaan' scheduled to be launched on July 15, Mutt sources said.
He received 'prasadam' from Paryaya Swamiji Vidyadeesha Teertha of Palimaru mutt.
Sivan also visited the Sri Mookambika temple at Kollur later in the day and offered prayers.
Temple priest K N Narasimha Adiga welcomed the ISRO chief along with temple officials.
