Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today ordered heads of departments of PSUs and societies to issue slips to employees showing the status of their PF accounts.
In her order to heads of departments and Secretaries of PSUs and cooperative societies in Puducherry, Bedi said "issuing slips would enable workers and employees to know the PF amount details including balance."
The Lt Governor also said the workers wanted to avail loans from their PF account "for various needs but did not know the balance."
