Isuzu launches automatic variant of MU-7 at Rs 23.9 lakh

India head says Isuzu looking to adress a wider range of SUV enthusiasts

Isuzu Motors India today launched the automatic variant of its sports utility vehicle MU-7 priced at Rs 23.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The company had launched MU-7 manual transmission variant in December 2013.

"In line with Isuzu's philosophy to constantly study the market and offer customers a great experience, we now add the new automatic transmission variant with more enhanced features in the interior," Isuzu Motors India MD Naohiro Yamaguchi said in a statement.

Many have approached the company for an automatic variant of MU-7 and with this launch Isuzu is sure that a wider range of SUV enthusiasts will prefer it, he added.
 

Isuzu currently assembles completely knocked down (CKD) kits of the MU-7 SUV at the Hindustan Motors Ltd's facility in Thiruvallur, near Chennai.
