Income Tax officials today conducted searches at the outlets of two leading chain of hotels in Chennai and various other parts of the state.
IT sources confirmed that searches were on in more than 10 places in Chennai and Coimbatore but declined to divulge further information.
In Coimbatore, officials held searches at two locations and examined documents, accounts and also computers, police said.
No employees were allowed to go out and customers were barred entry during searches, they said.
