IT officials raid houses& office of State Pollution Control

Income Tax officers today raided the houses and office of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board chairman Lakshman here.

Department officials said the raids were carried out at his houses and office at Sadashivanagar and Basaveshwaranagar, based on information about suspected amassment of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Before being appointed as KSPCB chairman, Lakshman was a realtor.

His family is still in the real estate business.
