Actor Andy Samberg says he would love to have actress Amy Poehler as a guest star on his comedy series 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'.

Set in the fictional 99th Precinct of the New York City Police Department in Brooklyn, the single-camera series follows a team of detectives and a newly appointed captain, said The Hollywood Reporter.

Samberg, 36, stars as Detective Jacob 'Jake' Peralta, a talented but childish spy. Poehler stars as Leslie Knope, a perky, mid-level bureaucrat in the parks department of Pawnee, a fictional town in Indiana, on TV show 'Parks and Recreation'.

"'Parks and Rec' fans' heads might explode, and it's pretty sacred ground, but the dream really would be for Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) to show up in 'Brooklyn'. I don't know if we'd have to talk to NBC about that," Samberg said, when asked which actor would he like to make a guest spot on his show.

The star said he would like his character Peralta and Poehler's Knope to get intimate on his show. 'Parks and Recreation' airs on NBC while 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' is shown on FOX channel.
