A heated argument broke out between a photo studio owner and two ITBP jawans after they allegedly did not to pay for the photographs, police said.
Other traders came in support of the photo studio owner and confronted the ITBP jawans, they said.
The situation grew grim as the outnumbered jawans called their colleagues.
Later, a clash broke out between the traders and ITBP personnel, they said.
The situation, however, was pacified after senior ITBP and police officials arrived.
"On the complaints made by both sides, we have registered a case against the traders and the ITBP jawans," Circle Officer, Govind Nagar Ajay Sahni said.
The situation is under control he said, adding, no arrest has been made so far.
