Diversified group ITC today said it would fund a series of initiatives in Delhi and other states to create public awareness aligning with government's Swachh Bharat Campaign .
ITC is organising education camps, nukkad natak and rallies in participation with municipal corporations and state authorities to spread awareness on waste segregation and sustainable management of waste, said a statement.
The states under its Wellbeing Out of Waste (WOW) programme are Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Bihar.

GST software application firm EasemyGST today said it is targeting assesses which are yet to file their Goods and Services Tax.
Ashish Mittal, Co-founder EasemyGST, said: "The company will be servicing MSMEs at the annual package of Rs 15,000 for GST related services. Our aim is to enable faster compliance and ensure competitiveness in terms of pricing".
As per the latest data, the company said, the total number of taxpayers, who were required to file monthly returns for August was 6.82 million, of which 3.76 million filed returns.
"Therefore, the need of the hour is to take the services of ASPs along with GSPs for GST filing and avoiding the interest for late filing of returns," Mittal added.
************** Unchahar plant's 500 MW unit to be operational on Sep 30: NTPC *
State-run power giant NTPC said today that 500 MW Unit-1 of Feroze Gandhi Unchahar Thermal Power Station, Stage-IV will start commercial operation from Friday midnight.
"500 MW Unit-1 of Feroze Gandhi Unchahar Thermal Power Station, Stage-IV (1 X 500 MW) will be declared on commercial operation from 00:00 Hours of September 30, 2017," NTPC said in a BSE filing today.
According to the statement, with this, the commercial capacity of NTPC would become 43,392 MW and that of NTPC Group would become 50,608 MW.
